Call for intercultural projects: CUPCAKE festival!

from February 26, 2019 to March 22, 2019

Project submission deadline: March 22, 2019
Tuesday, April 16, the UGA is hosting an intercultural festival – Project CUPCAKE – and you are invited to participate!

What is CUPCAKE?

CUPCAKE is the University Carnival for Promotion of Cultures: Workshops, animations; Kino-kabaret; Exhibitions.

The festival will include cultural, artistic, and educational events, all focused on the themes of diversity, interculturality, and international community. The UGA will organize four large events to anchor the festival, but we want to include as many students as possible...and that's where you come in!

  •     Kino Kabaret - workshop to create and screen short films
  •     Intercultural Village
  •     Come as you are: dress in traditional clothes from your region or country
  •     International feast: come and taste the different cultures!

Submit your project - participate in the CUPCAKE adventure

Are you a student? Are you part of a student association or organization? If you are, and you have ideas for events and activities around the festival themes, do not hesitate to send us your project proposal.

Share your culture via games, exhibitions, art, music, workshops, stands...or anything else you have in mind!
Project submission deadline: March 22, 2019

> Fill the form to apply.

Practical information to keep in mind

The festival and its events are based in Grenoble. You will be provided with a specific space on campus, and all activities take place outdoors.

You will participate as a volunteer: all events are free and open to the public.

The festival will be managed by UGA staff, but you will be responsible for materials and volunteers involved in your specific event while it's happening.

UGA staff will be there to provide individualized support for your event or activity: someone from your event will be in touch with us. The UGA will also take care of communications surrounding the event.
